FAQ Why are prices so low? The simple answer is that we have a surplus of these items and many of them are for older bikes. Our overstock becomes your great deal! Are the parts new? Yes. Everything sold on thebikestore.com is new. If the original packaging is not included, that will be stated in the description. How long will it take? Our goal is to ship all items within two business days. Most items will ship the same or next business day. Shipping will be via USPS. Tracking will be provided via email when order is processed. How much is shipping? Shipping is FREE on all items listed at thebikestore.com Is there sales tax? We are located in California and the State requires that we collect sales tax on all sales that are shipped to a California address. Our sales tax rate is 7.5% How many do you have? All items listed on thebikestore.com are in stock at time of listing. If an item drops below a quantity of 3, we will add a Low Stock message to the item. The Bike Store was founded in 1991 by Mike Reed in Greencastle, PA. About five years later, we opened www.thebikestore.com. In the past 25 plus years, The Bike Store has gone through many changes. The biggest change came in 2008 when Mike and his partner Jodi relocated the business to Mt Shasta, CA Through the years, the core ideal of spreading the joy that is bicycling has remained.
